Good Friday Meditations

good-friday2020

Publicly gathering during quarantine is prohibited. But the gospel is not. On Good Friday—April 10, 2020, believers across the island, from multiple churches gathered over Zoom to reflect on Christ for Good Friday. Pastor Pancho Madrid from Guam Christian Life Fellowship hosted the event and invited other pastors and friends to reflect on the 7 last words of Jesus.

  • Father, forgive them, for they know knot what they do (Luke 23:34) by Joe John Matanona

  • I tell you the truth, today, you will be with me in paradise (Luke 23:34) by Pancho Madrid

  • Woman, behold your son. . . Behold, your mother (John 19:26–27) by Melchor Hennegan

  • Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani. . . my God, my God, why have you forsaken me (Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34) by Francis Dalisay

  • I am thirsty (John 19:28) by Felix Camacho

  • It is finished (John 19:30) by Joe Sicad

  • Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit (Luke 23:46) by Andy Loos

Join us as we reflect on the last words of Christ together.
