Melchor was born and raised on the island of Guam. He serves as the youth and worship minister at Bayview Church.
He received a theological degree from Bethlehem College & Seminary (M.Div).
Mel enjoys playing and watching sports, reading books, and doing life and ministry with his wife Rachel and daughter Aria Rae.
RACHEL HENNEGAN

Rachel grew up as a pastor’s kid in Laingsburg, MI. She gained a degree in Cross-Cultural Studies with an emphasis in teaching English (B.A.) at Northland International University. She worked as a teacher and in early childhood development. She currently works as a private tutor and is an active member at Bayview Church.
She loves traveling, gardening, cooking, and pretty much anything that will give her an excuse to be outdoors. She has also worked nearly a decade as a barista in a number of different shops, so you know she knows and loves her coffee.
During this COVID-19 season, I (Mel) have had a lot of opportunities to spend time with God praying and reading His word. At the same time, my phone has blown up with news and articles about the current pandemic. A lot of what shows up on my feed are a bunch of humorous memes, news articles, and fun ways people have coped with what is going on. However, there has also been a lot of not-so-helpful stuff circulating the internet as well. Because of this, I wanted to create a platform for people to hear positive and helpful content. As a Christian, I believe there is no better place to be shaped, challenged, motivated, or inspired than hearing the voice of God through his word.
The mission statement for this website is this: to spread a passion for the gospel of Christ for the joy of all peoples. One of my favorite Psalms in scripture expresses it this way:
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah
that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.
Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!

Deep within the human soul is the desire to find deep significance and glory in something greater than ourselves. C.S. Lewis says, "If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for a different world."
That's what I want to live for. And that's why this website exists.
